TASTE OF POLISH FLAVOURS is our first theme night to introduce you to experience a diverse cuisine from Europe. We start with Poland as a native country of one of the owners of Urban Deli and Bar.
Food is a big part of Polish culture. Cooking for our relatives and friends is the way how we show appreciation and love!
We want to display this unique food with our Novocastrian community! We have created a traditional 5-course menu with an option of 5 matching wines to add to your food. The are limited spots available – only 40 guests to book for this event! Maybe you are Polish or have polish heritage and you simply miss food from home? This is definitely an event for you! No idea about Poland and especially their food, but you are curious and love to experience new things? This is definitely an event for you! Every guest will receive info and history on every course and wine tasting notes, if you decide to choose matching wines option! Yes, there also will be some Vodka shots… as we do in Poland. 😉
This is a must event for anyone who love to experience anything food and drink!
1 course: Pickles, Smalec w/ bacon and onion, sourdough + shot of vodka
2 course: Chlodnik – cold beetroot soup
3 course: Pierogi & Bigos ( Polish Dumplings & Hunter’s Stew)
4 course: Venison Goulash w/ Barley served w/ Red Cabbage & Plums
5 course: Dessert
Drink option: Matchings wines package $50 – 4 x 100ml gls + 75ml dessert wine or drinks from our wine list paid on consumption.
